SHSU Quidditch invites you to “Midnight Luau: Come get lei’d at Sam Houston State”.
This is the beginning of an annually held end of the year overnight themed quidditch tournament. Here we would like to mark a memorable season by congratulating graduating quidditch seniors, play quidditch and have some SW team-bonding fun.
With that being said this year’s theme is Hawaiian themed! That’s right! It’s time to break out those coconut bras and grass skirts!
~Where: IM Field 3
~What to bring: Sleeping bags, blankets, costumes, a snitch, and a ref, cash for concessions and food
~When: April 28, 2012
~Price: Prices Vary
$30 per team
$10 (optional) per team for table to sell their own merchandise
$0 Admissions for audience
$$ Dinner will be pizza (and we’re still working out the kinks on this)
Brooms and Water will be provided!
Concessions will also be available!
Prizes will be given out to:
** Best team theme/Team with the most “tiki-riffic” costumes
** Best individual costume
**Graduating seniors (HS and College) recognition
Make sure to come well rested, because this is an overnight tournament, and, of course, ready to play some quidditch!
Please join us as we celebrate the end of yet another amazing quidditch year and the beginning of the summer!!

We at SHSU Quidditch are all excited for the tourney tomorrow… especially since it’s less than an hour’s drive away!

Come check out Foster High School’s Exhibition Quidditch Tournament tomorrow starting at 11-4. Three high school teams will be playing, as well as Sam Houston State University and Rice University.
T-shirts and concessions will be sold to benefit Foster HS band.
Soon we’re all going to start our staggered train of cars down to Baton Rouge, and tomorrow we’ll be playing at the Mardi Gras Carnival Cup!
